JAMMU: âThis is a tragedy in the history that J&K which acceded to the Union of India on October 26, 1947 with other 575 states has not been acceded with the Union of India like other states. Someday Pakistan holding conference in Islamabad, the second day in London and third day Pakistan can hold conference in New York beating the drums with an attempt to mislead the Big Powers on the status of J&K. The yesterdayâs episode vis-Ă -vis Jammu and Kashmir in London exposes Pakistan of its ulterior motive and failure of the Parliament of India to sign/approve the Instrument of Accession relating to J&K by itâs the then Ruler, Maharaja Hari Singh on October 26, 1947.
Had the Parliament of India while declaring the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950 declared J&K as integral part of the Union of India as it did with 575 former states and two other states namely, Hyderabad & Junagarh whose Rulers had failed to sign the Instrument of Accession, there would have been no hue or cry today on the outer corridor of British Parliament. "
This is nothing new Pakistan has been playing such gimmicks from day one. Pakistan remained silent for couple of years after Mr. Krishna Menon trounced Pakistan in an open speech inside the Security Council, United Nations in 1956. Krishna Menon speech should have been circulated to all the Members of Parliament so that every Member of Parliament could have realized his/her constructive role vis-Ă -vis J&K. What Pakistan speaks from London it has no support even from the national level in Pakistan. The 2-3 persons who made it to some empty hall in the British Parliament House to make a story has given a chance to Indian diplomats to take the credit for nothing.
The British Govt. never allowed outsiders to create any nuisance in the premises of the British Parliament. The Foreign Minister of Pakistan could not enter the space organized by couple of organizers. None of them was a Britisher. Those who transcended these stories that Indian diplomats at work or UK officials skiped Pakistanâs London event are a cheap propaganda whereas this show was created by frustrated political activists from Pakistan residing in London to appease Pakistan.
Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the so-called organizers of the âLondon Eventâ yesterday that it was âIndia means Peace Councilâ which organized peace marchers at Hyde Park Corner for nearly two years seeking liberation of entire J&K from Pak occupation. The Pakistani Govt. learnt to make noises in the name of J&K only to mislead the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and POK who have been kept under dictatorial government since 1948 by Pakistan.
Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party & Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee, J&K blamed the Parliament of India on itsâ failure to take steps to integrate India from Kanyakumari to Kashmir which shall take less than five minutes for the Parliament to extend National Flag from Kanyakumari to Kashmir with one Constitution granting all fundamental rights mentioned in Chapter-III in the Indian Constitution with extension of all Fundamental Rights to the residents of J&K so that every citizen of India in J&K shall enjoy the right to freedom of speech and expression and freedom to live with honour and dignity. This is the resolution of J&K problem. Let Parliament of India awake! All shoutings, anti-India slogans and anti-India propaganda shall come to an end. The people of J&K with their brethren shall also live in peace and with freedom.
