ISLAMABAD (UNEDITED): A round table conference was organized by Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK-AJK Chapter) titled “Kashmir Dispute: Challenges to Kashmir Demography and Threat from Ideological Hindu Forces of India” today at Kashmir House in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The speakers included Raja Zafarul Haq Senator, Mushahidullah Khan Senator, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad AML MNA, Ali Mohammad Khan PTI MNA, Abdul Waseem MQM MNA, Chaudhary Abdul Majeed Prime Minister AJK, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan President AJK, Abdul Rashid Turabi Jamaat-e-Islami AJK, Shah Ghulam Qadir AJK ML (N), Lt. Gen. (R) Hamid Gul, Shiekh Tajamulul Islam Executive Director KMS, Ghulam Mohammad Safi THJK, Rafiq Ahmad Dar JKLF, Hassan-ul-Bana APHC-AJK, Syed Talat Hussain Geo TV, Syed Abdullah Geelani Hurriyet AJK, Mian Alam JI, Mehtab Khan Ausaf Group of News paper, HCJK-AJK leader and Vice-Chairman Islamic Political Party JK Abdul Hameed Lone, Muzaffar Hussain Shah HCJK and Hurriyet leader Mohammad Shafi Dar while expressing serious concern over the anti Kashmir designs of BJP-RSS, adding that Indian government is indulged in a demographic change of occupied Kashmir which is against the international law. The Pakistani leaders reiterated to continue their political, diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir till the resolution of Kashmir.

The participants of this Round Table Conference held by the Islamic Political Party Jammu Kashmir (IPPJK), the constituent of the Hurriyet Conference emphasize that:
1. The world community is well aware of the disputed legacy of Jammu and Kashmir. The dispute is awaiting solution before the United Nations since 01.01.1948. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are eagerly looking for a free, fair and impartial plebiscite under the UN auspices so that they are able to decide their destiny by themselves.
2. The people of Jammu and Kashmir essentially want to live in peace with honour and dignity. In this context they welcome the dialogue process between Pakistan and India.
3. The United Nations, United States, the United Kingdom, European Union and the world human rights organizations must take into account historical dimension of the Kashmir dispute and the motives behind the sacrifices and sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
4. We condemn the BJP government in New Delhi and its collaborators in Indian occupied Kashmir for their designs to:
· Tarnish the identity of Kashmiris and the Muslim character of Jammu and Kashmir;
· Continuously violate the human rights of the people of Kashmir to intimidate them into submission;
· Setup separate townships for Pandits and create state within a state in Kashmir Valley on the Israeli pattern;
· Undermine the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle by creating a new stakeholder in the form of Pandits;
· Settle non Kashmiris including West Pakistan migrants in Jammu and Kashmir with an aim to change its demography;
1. In the above context we demand:
· An end to Indian sinister designs to change demographic character of Jammu and Kashmir,
· And to state terrorism, genocide, repression, ethnic cleansing, illegal detention and all types of human rights violations in the territory;
· Repeal of all draconian laws including AFSPA and Public Safety Act;
· Demilitarisation of Jammu and Kashmir;
· Release of all political prisoners and detainees;
· Annulment of the plan to establish separate townships for the Kashmiri Pandits and division of Kashmir on religious lines;
· Access of human rights and other humanitarian organizations to Kashmir.
