NEW DELHI: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:
(i) Shri Rajiv Kumar, IAS(JH:84), Additional Secretary. Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance as Establishment Officer and Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions in the vacancy of Shri B.P. Sharma, IAS(BH:81).
(ii) Shri Jaideep Govind, IAS(MP:84), at present in cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs in the vacancy of Shri Rajiv Gauba, IAS(JH:82).
(iii) Ms. Sanjeevanee Kutty, IAS(MH:83), CVO, IOC as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Home Affairs in the vacancy of Shri S.C. Panda, IAS(AM:81).
(iv) Ms. Bharti S. Sihag, IAS(HP:83), Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Steel vice Shri Vinod Kumar Thakral, IAS(MT:82).
(v) Shri Vinod Kumar Thakral, IAS(MT:82), Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Steel as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Vice Ms. Bharti S. Sihag, IAS(HP:83).
(vi) Shri A.P. Sawhney, IAS(AP:84), at present in cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in the vacancy of Shri Rajive Kumar, IAS(UP:81).
(vii) Shri B.K. Tripathi, IAS(JH:83), at present in cadre, as Member Secretary, NCR Planning Board, Ministry of Urban Development, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary in the vacancy of Ms. Naini Jayaseelan, IAS(UT:80).
(viii) Shri Pritam Singh, IAS(RJ:84), at present in cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs vice Shri M.J. Joseph, ICAS. 79.
(ix) Shri Injeti Srinivas, IAS(OR:83), Chairman, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority under Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers as Director General, Sports Authority of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary vice Shri Jiji Thomson, IAS(KL:80). Shri Srinivas will continue to hold the post of Chairman, NPPA on additional charge basis till the appointment of a new incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(x) Shri T. Vijay Kumar, IAS(AP:83), DG, CAPART, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development in the vacancy of Shri D.V. Prasad, IAS(KN:84).
