JAMMU: Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu North, Nitish Rajora today conducted impromptu inspections that uncovered multiple instances of unauthorised mining activities involving heavy machinery. At Kangrail, 2 earth movers (JCB) and 1 dumper were seized for engaging in mining activities without the requisite permissions.
A similar situation unfolded in Jandyal, where 1 Earth Mover was seized. Additionally, 1 dumper each was confiscated at Ghaink and Bhalwal for indulging in unauthorised transportation of minor minerals, lacking valid permissions.
