AYODHYA: The three-day national executive meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) concluded today at Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, with a focus on the expansion and strengthening of ABRSM at the cluster level. The NEC meeting, which commenced on June 15, saw active participation from teachers across both school and higher education wings of ABRSM, who discussed various issues and challenges faced by the teaching community.
Teachers from school education and higher education wings discussed the problems they are facing, such as payment anomalies, the implementation of NEP 2020 in all states, transfer Policy and issues specific to teachers and professors at the state level. They requested the central body to raise these concerns at the central government level.
Sunil Bhai Mehta, the main speaker and Rashtriya Bodhik Prashikshan Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, emphasized the crucial role teachers play in various issues in the society. He highlighted how educators can serve as role models and positively influence society. Mehta also stressed the extension and strengthening of ABRSM at the cluster level. He said, "With the help of work at the cluster level, we will be able to reach out to unit-level work, that is, schools. To achieve this goal, there is a dire need for comprehensive planning that we must undertake wholeheartedly."
During the meeting, teachers shared their experiences and deliberated on numerous issues. Discussions also covered the significant role of the teaching community in addressing various social and national issues. Additionally, teachers examined organizational matters and proposed measures to strengthen ABRSM at both the cluster and school levels.
One of the key initiatives discussed was "Mera Vidyalaya Mera Teerth," aimed at transforming schools into sources of energy for students, teachers, and the society. This initiative seeks to enhance the educational environment, making it a focal point for community development and holistic development of students.
Mahendra Kumar, National Vice President, presided over the valedictory function. Mahendra Kapoor, National Organizing Secretary, spoke on the organizational issues and asked the national executive members to be vigilant and active for the welfare of the teaching community and the nation.
