REASI: NSS unit and Road Safety Club of Government Degree College (GDC) Katra today actively participated in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan by taking a pledge in the multipurpose hall of the College. The event was conducted under the able guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Rajni Bhagat along with the presence of faculty members and students.

The pledge was read out by Prof. Mohd Younus Saleem in which emphasis was on the importance of a drug-free society. The initiative aims to raise awareness among students and the community about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage everyone to contribute to an addiction free society.  The event concluded with a commitment from all present to work towards making Katra and its peripheries a drug-free zone.
