- Ashok Koul chairs organizational meeting of BJP in Samba District
SAMBA: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with our dedicated force of party cadre has ensured the welfare of every neglected and deprived, said Ashok Koul. Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), J&K BJP, said this, while chairing an organizational meeting at the District BJP Office in Samba.
He was accompanied by J&K BJP Vice President and MLA from Samba, Surjit Singh Slathia, BJP General Secretary and MLA from Ramgarh, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Samba District President, Asha Rani, and other senior leaders of party. A large number of district-level functionaries, Mandal presidents, and party workers participated in the meeting.
Ashok Koul emphasized the importance of strong organizational structure and consistent outreach efforts to ensure the party’s ideology and development agenda reaches every household. He appreciated the commitment shown by party workers in Samba and urged them to continue working with dedication and integrity.

Surjit Singh Slathia, while speaking on the occasion, discussed various developmental projects that have been initiated in the Samba constituency and the positive response from the public. He said that the people have full faith in the BJP government both at the Centre and in Jammu & Kashmir, owing to the party’s transparent governance and citizen-centric policies. “Our goal is to transform Samba into a model district, and we are working in close coordination with the administration to achieve this,” he added.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal focused on the healthcare, education, and infrastructure-related developments in the Ramgarh area. He stressed the need for party workers to actively monitor the implementation of government schemes and ensure that genuine beneficiaries are not left behind. “Empowerment at the grassroots begins with accountability. Our activists must serve as a bridge between the government and the people,” Dr. Manyal remarked.
District President Asha Rani presented a detailed report on the organizational activities being undertaken by the district and highlighted future plans for expansion and outreach. She acknowledged the contributions of local workers and expressed confidence in BJP’s growing influence in Samba.
