JAMMU: Continuing the Mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir General Secretary and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, today kick started the development work for laying paver tiles on roads and repairing drains at Ward 55, Hari Vihar in RS Pura-Jammu South Assembly constituency.
Baldev Singh Billawaria accompanied by BJP Jammu South District President Naresh Jasrotia, Mandal President Ajay Pratap Singh, State Executive Member Rajinder Chib (Poppy), Sushpal Choudhary, Sandur Chambyal, Sandeep Sharma, Sahil Jamwal, along with departmental officials and prominent citizens of the said area. The development work, estimated at approximately 23 lakh, will be carried out under the supervision of the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that local residents had been facing difficulties and inconvenience due to poor road conditions and dilapidated drains in the area for many years. He highlighted that residents of Hari Vihar had long demanded smooth roads and proper drainage, and expressed happiness that this work is now being initiated to fulfill their long-standing needs.
Billawaria further added that the completion of road and drainage improvement work would provide relief to residents, particularly during the rainy season, and ensure safer and more convenient movement. He also emphasized that under the leadership of local MLA Dr. Narinder Singh, all development goals of the area are being prioritized to ensure better living standards and improved mobility for every citizen.
He noted that BJP MLAs across Jammu and Kashmir are actively engaged in implementing development projects in their respective constituencies and assured that such initiatives would be carried out equitably across all regions, addressing citizens’ concerns on a continuous basis. Billawaria urged contractors and department officials to execute the work in accordance with high-quality and safety standards, ensuring long-term benefits for the local community.
He also assured that the development projects would be implemented transparently and within the scheduled timelines. Local residents expressed their appreciation for the BJP leadership’s role in successfully initiating this important project and conveyed their gratitude.
