JAMMU: In honour of the success of Operation Sindoor and the indomitable courage, valour and heroism of the Indian Army, Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan today led Tiranga Rally in Gandhi Nagar area. The rally, filled with patriotic fervour and slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai was a mark of respect to the brave security personnel who were part of the operation and a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives defending the country's integrity and sovereignty. The objective of the rally was to commemorate the successful operation targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan, honor the security personnel and civilians who lost their lives in the line of duty, including those who fell victim to Pakistan's shelling.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritika paid rich homage to the unwavering courage of the Indian armed forces, including paramilitary forces, BSF, CRPF and local police, who continue to protect the country against terrorism and subversive forces. “India has never bowed to terrorism, and this is because of the selfless service of our brave men and women in uniform,” she stated. She said that every time the Tiranga waves, it echoes our soul, our identity, and the legacy of sacrifice. The flag reminds us of the bravehearts who gave everything for the nation at the borders.
Ritika described Operation Sindoor not merely as a military operation but as a symbolic retaliation and a reflection of the resolve of India’s Nari Shakti to protect the sanctity of sindoor (vermilion). She said that by demolishing terror strongholds on Pakistani soil, India has made it clear that any threat directed towards the daughters of the nation will now be answered from across the border.
