RAJOURI: A spirited Sarv Dharam Tiranga Rally was held today in Dhangri, Rajouri, bringing together hundreds of enthusiastic participants from diverse communities to honour the bravery of Indian Forces. Organized by Dheeraj Sharma, a National Awardee and former Sarpanch of Upper Dhangri, the rally showcased the region’s unity and unwavering support for the nation’s armed forces.
The vibrant procession commenced at Dhangri Chowk, weaving through Muradpur to Panja Chowk, Rajouri, and returning via Bhadoon to conclude at Dhangri Chowk. Hundreds of youths, riding two-wheelers adorned with fluttering National Flags, filled the air with resounding chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Indian Forces Zindabad’. The rally symbolized a powerful display of patriotism, with participants from all castes and religions uniting under the tricolor.
Addressing the gathering, Dheeraj Sharma lauded the Indian Army and Paramilitary Forces for their recent decisive operation against terrorist bases in Pakistan. “We are immensely proud of our forces, who executed a precise and impactful mission, eliminating hundreds of terrorists without any collateral damage to our nation,” he said.
Sharma emphasized that the rally was organized to applaud the valor of the forces and to foster unity among youths of different faiths in support of a strong, secure India. Reflecting on the recent military operation, Sharma added, “While our forces successfully completed their mission in a single day, compelling Pakistan to appeal for a ceasefire, we believe extending the operation for a few more days could have dismantled Pakistan’s terrorist ecosystem entirely, ensuring long-term security for our nation.” He urged continued vigilance and national unity to counter future threats.
The rally saw active participation from prominent community members, including Pritam Sharma, Subedar Amarjeet Singh, Capt. Ravinder Raina, Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhry, Nasharat Hussain, Saddam Jatt, and Mohd. Jameel, among others. Their presence underscored the inclusive spirit of the event, which resonated with the ethos of Sarv Dharam—embracing all religions in a shared celebration of national pride.
