POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today visited the Government Fruit Plant Nursery Ajote to review the horticulture operations taken up under different developmental schemes. CHO Sanjeev Kumar welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and briefed him about the horticultural initiatives in progress in the district.

 The Deputy Commissioner inspected the cultivation structures like Pecan nut Mother block, Apple Ultra high density Mother Block (5 Kanal), Solar Pannel, 20000 Litre Geo Tanks installed in GFPN Ajote.

 He appreciated the department's efforts and directed the Chief Horticulture Officer to promote Pecan nut Villages in the District. The In charge of GFPN Ajote Horticulture Development Officer Poonch Rakesh Kumar was also present.
