JAMMU: The Youth Services and Sports Department’s District Level Selection Trials in the sports disciplines of Wushu for U/19 years age group Boys/ Girls and Fencing for all age groups (AAG) Boys/Girls started at MAM Stadium here. Additionally trials were conducted in Handball also for U/19 years boys and Girls at Dogra Ground Jammu.

The competitions are being organized under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K Rajinder Singh Tara. Officials, convenors, and other technical officials have been deployed by the YSS to ensure the smooth conduct of these trials. The selection trials are being conducted with the expert guidance of Yash Paul Sharma, Vishal Malhotra and Anil Shan.

The Department of Youth Services and Sports District J&K aims to foster a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence among the youth through such initiatives and events.
