SRINAGAR: Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (IISM) has announced the successful completion of the second two Water Skiing courses simultaneously for the year 2024-25. With a total of six courses planned for this year, the Institute demonstrates its commitment to training and development in adventure sports. 

Held simultaneously on the picturesque Dal and Nigeen lakes from 21st July to 31st July 2024, these courses were attended by 52 enthusiastic students who displayed exceptional dedication and skill during their training. 

In a memorable graduation ceremony held on a boat on Dal Lake on 30th July 2024, Col IS Thapa, SM, VSM & MID, Principal, Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering, Gulmarg presented certificates to the graduating students in recognition of their outstanding achievements. Addressing the students, Col IS Thapa highlighted the importance of discipline in sports, especially adventure sports. He encouraged the students to strive for excellence, dedication and hard work in all their endeavours. 

IISM is proud of the diverse group of students who participated in the Basic (40students), Intermediate (4 students) and Advanced (8 students) courses. The Institute heartily congratulates all the students for their perseverance, dedication and achievements during the courses.
