• Awarding credits for Extracurricular activities to promote sports culture among the Youth

AWANTIPORA: The Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), is organizing an Inter-Departmental Football Tournament wherein teams from various departments shall compete.

Dr Hilal Ahmad Rather, welcomed the guests and introduced the players. He said that the Sports Advisory Council under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof Shakil Ahmad Romshoo has instructed creditization of extracurricular activities to encourage students to promote sports culture among the youth and groom them for national and international events. Mr. Sameer Wazir, Finance Officer and Chairman of the Sports Committee at IUST, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
