GANDERBAL: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) District Ganderbal concluded the inter-school zonal level cricket tournaments for boys (U17 & U19) and girls (U17).

In Zone Ganderbal, the boys' U19 final was held at MS Fatehpora ground, featuring a thrilling match between Qamaria HSS Saloora Ganderbal and New Dreamland Educational Institute Ganderbal. Qamaria HSS emerged victorious, claiming the trophy with pride.

Similarly, Zone Kangan hosted the girls' U17 competition at the Zonal Office ground in Kijpara Kangan. The final match on the second day was an exhilarating contest between BHSS Manigam and BHSS Wangath, with BHSS Manigam emerging as the winners. Senior department officials celebrated the accomplishments of both teams by awarding them trophies during the presentation ceremony.

Zone Tullamulla also conducted similar competitions for boys U17 and U19 at BHSS Safapora. In the U17 category, BHSS Lar defeated BHSS Safapora in the finals. In the U19 category, BHSS Batwina emerged victorious by defeating BHSS Safapora, proudly lifting the trophy. The Department of Youth Services and Sports Ganderbal has expressed gratitude to all participants, coaches, and staff for their dedication and sportsmanship.
