GANDERBAL:  The Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Ganderbal inaugurated an inter-zone district-level Handball competition for girls in the U-17 and U-19 categories at GCOPE Gadoora Ganderbal today.  The event attracted eager participation from students representing all four zones of the district.

In the U17 category, Zone Ganderbal claimed victory against Zone Kangan. In the U19 category, Zone Tullamulla triumphed over Zone Ganderbal in a thrilling final match.  During the presentation ceremony, senior officials honored the winning teams.

Additionally, Zone Hariganiwan hosted intramural sports competitions, including Carrom at BHSS Hariganiwan, cricket at BHSS Hariganiwan and MS Syed Basti, and Volleyball at MS Kasanapati. 

These events not only foster physical fitness but also aim to identify and nurture the best talent. The Department of YSS Ganderbal commends all participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and extends heartfelt congratulations to the winning teams.
