BARAMULLA: The Inter District Subroto Football Cup 2024 for Under-15 boys concluded today at Showkat Ali Stadium, Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla. The event was organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department J&K, under the supervision of Rashid Kohli Joint Director YSS Kashmir Province and was   hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla.

During the day, first semi-final saw Kupwara emerging victorious over Pulwama, while Kulgam triumphed over Anantnag in the second semi-final. The final match was a thrilling contest between Kupwara and Kulgam, with Kupwara securing a decisive 3-0 victory.  Akthar Hussain from District Kupwara was the standout player, scoring all three goals.

The final ceremony was graced by Nazir Ahmad Bhat, DYSSO Baramulla, along with other dignitaries from the YSS Department. Speaking on the occasion, Bhat extended his gratitude to all the participating teams for their outstanding performances and commended the field staff for making the tournament a grand success. The winners and runners-up teams were awarded trophies and certificates for their achievements.
