GANDERBAL Under the Stop Diarrhea campaign that started from Ist July 2024 and shall continue till 31 August 2024, an inaugural event was today held at District Hospital Ganderbal. 

The campaign was kick-started by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad, in presence of Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal/ Head Of Health Department Ganderbal (Dr Bashir Ahmad Khan), Medical Superintendent District Hospital Ganderbal, Dr Nighat Yasmeen and Paediatric /DEIC Staff of District Hospital Ganderbal.  

During the ceremony, and as part of awareness initiative Zinc and ORS was dispensed among school Children with the aim of imparting education to the Children and Paediatric Age group about the causes of Childhood Diarrhea.  On the sidelines of event, the ADC delivered a note about the importance of the event.
