JMC hosts awareness event on Management of Dairies, scientific dung disposal mechanism

JAMMU: MVO section of JMC organized an Awareness programme on Environmental Management of Dairies/ Gaushalas and adoption of scientific dung disposal mechanisms here today at Gurdayal Dairy, Sanjay Nagar.

VAS, JMC, Dr. Divya Sharma and other officials of the Veterinary section   were present in the programme. The dairy owners & gaushala operators of Sanjay Nagar were invited in the programme for making them aware regarding management of dairies/ gaushalas & scientific dung disposal mechanisms viz. Installation of Biogas Plant, Vermi-compost unit, compost pits etc.
