AFTER NOON FLASH: Sources informed that the Inquiry Committee into the examination fees collection scam in Thathri Zone has been changed and a new committee consisting of HoD-DIET Doda Mr Mangat Ram Sharma, Tehsildar Thathri and Principal HSS Girls Thathri has been constituted. However, despites repeated attempts, CEO Doda could not be contacted for official confirmation.

• 4 member Inquiry team consisting of district Planning Officer Doda, Principal Ghat, Tehsildar Thathri, and Block Development Officer to submit report in 5 days, confirmed CEO Doda.    Credibility at stake: Tough task for 4 member inquiry team,  ZEO office persuading to garner employees’ union support, Public resentment in villages growing against ZEO office  In frustration ZEO office Thathri provides proof to have received Rs 150 per candidate as fees.
• Is CEO Doda being provided incomplete information by the subordinates or he is being misled and kept in dark by the years old deep rooted nexus in his own office and in ZEO offices?

JAMMU: In a bid to save themselves and prove before the 4 member inquiry team that employees of Education Department posted in ZEO office Thathri have not overcharged the examination fees from the poor students of class 8th for the session 2013 Oct/Nov, several kinds of manipulations are being exercised on the tips of their bosses to save the image of education department at zonal and district level.
