JAMMU: In response to startling revelations, a four-member inquiry team has been tasked to probe allegations of fee overcharging by employees of the Education Department posted in the Zonal Education Office (ZEO) Thathri. The scandal, which allegedly involves charging excessive examination fees from class 8 students for the October/November 2013 session, has prompted swift action from Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, who oversees the Education Department.
