EXAM FEES SCAM IN DODA: 10069 class 8th students misinformed, cheated in 2012, Rs 4, 02,760 swindled

- As per records, for 2012, Rs 3.52 415 was remitted to SIE Jammu @ Rs 35 per students for 10069 students, where goes the rest, where are records, whose brainchild was this and who will refund the money to poor students?
- According to a circular issued by DSE-J in 2011, Rs 110 was fixed to be charged from students as examination fees for class 8th and till date the same circular is in force as exam fees has not revised till now.
- ZEO Gundna Amar Chand while talking to JK Monitor over the issue of overcharging this year has disclosed that his office was told to charge the same fees as charged last year and the last year they charged Rs 150 per student.
- ZEO, Bhagwa, Mr Natnoo after confirming from his office staff, told JK Monitor that for the year 2012 too, Exam Fees for the class 8th was charge at the rate of Rs 150 per student.
- ZEO Bhaderwah, Mr Ram Prashad and one of his female staffer to who he passed on the phone also confirmed to JK Monitor that for the year 2012, examination fees for the class 8th was deposited in the Middle Standard (MS) Exam Cell which is in CEO Office Doda. He confirmed that fees of 941 students were deposited at the rate of Rs 150 per student.
JAMMU: Continuing with the disclosure of JK Monitor’s in-depth investigations, it has been further revealed that Middle Examination Cell in CEO office Doda has swindled Rs 4, 02,760 in the year 2012 after they conspired to misinform, cheat and exploit the innocent school children across the district and collected Rs 150 from each students from all 10 zones in which Rs 40 per student was the excess amount collected on the directions of CEO Middle Examination Cell in CEO office Doda.
