JAMMU: Responding to recent reports appearing in a section of local press, District Administration Jammu has clarified misunderstanding surrounding the renewal process for agents operating under the Government of India's Mahila Pradhan Kshetriya Bachat Yojana. The office of the District Magistrate has clarified that it has approved all the applications received so far since last year.
It's important to note that only those cases have been withheld which have failed to declare that none of their immediate relatives hold positions within either State or Central Government as provisioned under the guidelines of Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs Government of India. Therefore, assertions regarding mass unemployment among agents are unfounded and misleading.
