- Agniveer Scheme Govt’s new ‘tool’ to exploit youths: Rattan Lal Gupta
RAJOURI: Mian Altaf Ahmed, NC candidate for Anantnag- Rajouri Parliamentary constituency on Tuesday made a fervent appeal to people to support India Alliance for saving the constitution of India, Press Media and the social fabric of the country.
He said this while addressing a public meeting in Manjakote District Rajouri, here. Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President National Conference, Abdul Gani Malik former Minister, Shabir Khan former minister, Ch Naseem DDC Chairman Rajouri, Aslam Khan former MLA, Th. Yashvardhan Singh Additional Spokesperson Jammu, Iftkhair Choudhary, Shafqat Mir Provincial Secretary, S. Nirman Singh State Joint Secretary, Muzaffar Khan zone Secretary, Shafayat Khan Distt President Rajouri Urban, Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell, DDC Sain Abdul Rashid, DDC Khalid, Rakesh Singh Raka, Vipan Sharma, Mati ul Rehman and other senior leaders of Congress and National Conference a accompanied MIan Altaf.
The former minister Mian Altaf said that J&K is passing through bad times because certain entities with divisive agenda are working to disturb the social fabric prevalent in the region since times immemorial. He said that only India Alliance can protect the country from the forces hell-bent to distort the bonhomie and brotherhood between different communities.
Raising an important issue, he accused that both judiciary, media and other important which have been considered as vital pillars of democracy, are under siege these days posing a big challenge to the country's shinning democracy. He said that people have understood the game plan of the divisive forces trying to create a wedge between the people and that is why people have decided to support the India Alliance wholeheartedly.
Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, in his address, said that with nothing in offing for the youths, the incumbent government has found Agniveer Scheme as a new tool to exploit the young lot in the country because the Agniveer will be thrown out on the road after four years of is engagement. He said that people by now have got the idea that it is India Alliance which is best for the country as those sitting at helm have proved beyond doubt that they are useless, spendthrift and good for nothing, and have pushed the people of the country to the wall by their directionless and anti policies implemented in the last ten years.
Shabir Khan, former minister, raised the issue of miseries faced by people living near the border belt of Rajouri claiming that the present dispensation remained apathetic and indifferent towards their cause. He said that India Alliance is aware of their hardship and soon after coming to power, focus shall be laid to bail the people out of morass by fulfilling all of their aspirations without any compromise.
Ch Naseem, DDC Chairman Rajouri, Abdul Gani Malik former minister and Shafqat Mir appealed to the people to support and vote the India Alliance candidate Mian Altaf Ahmed in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls in the Anantnag- Rajouri constituency to save the people from the misrule of BJP and its proxy Govt in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, Shafayat Khan, District President JKNC Rajouri, apprised the party leadership about the burning issues of the people of the area and ensured Mian Altaf Ahmed India alliance candidate the people of District Rajouri wholeheartedly made up their mind to support and vote to you by pressing symbol of plough (Hal) on 25th of May, 2024.
