• Senior Party leaders, District Committee Poonch actively organising series of public meetings

POONCH: Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has continued to hold interaction with different segments of society as a part of election campaign in favour of the Party candidate for the Rajouri – Anatnang Parliamentary seat, Zafar Iqbal Manhas sahab. In continuation to the ongoing election campaign and meetings across the Rajouri – Poonch Districts, the Apni Party has held a series of meetings with the people, seeking support for the Party candidate.

Similarly, S. Manjit Singh met the deputation of the people, who called on him in Poonch, and they extended their support to the Party candidate. While expressing his gratitude, he said that the Party is committed to implement its agenda of equitable development in the Region that has faced decades of negligence, and poor infrastructural development.

He said that the Party has committed to leave no stone unturned to get a separate Parliamentary seat for Pir – Panjal, construction of two tunnels on the famous Mughal Road at Peer Ki Gali, and Dera Ke Gali, exploring new tourism sites, and promotion of tourism sites at the national and international level. He also believes that the Region should get a Hill Development Council and accordingly, separate funds should be allocated to revamp its development. 

He also advocated that if the Party candidate for the Rajouri – Anantnag seat gets elected to the Lok Sabha, Zafar Iqbal Manhas would revolutionize the developmental activities, and generate employment at the local level with the promotion and exploration of the tourism sector in Pir Panjal.

He said that the tourism sector has huge potential to boost the local economy and generate employment. Meanwhile, the Apni Party continued a public outreach program and held a series of meetings across the region in support of Zafar Iqbal Manhas sahab.

The Party’s Provincial President Jammu, S. Manjit Singh with other leaders of the province, wings, and District Committee Poonch led by Shah Mohammed Tantray carried out the election campaign in a coordinated manner. The Party has expressed gratitude towards the people for their overwhelming response and support to Zafar Iqbal Manhas sahab.
