KUPWARA: A meeting of all concerned officers was today convened by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Lolab, Javaid Masoodi in his office chamber to finalize the arrangements for conduct of the Republic Day 2025 in Lolab Sub Division. The SDM directed all the departments to ensure fool proof arrangements in place so that the national event is celebrated seamlessly in the sub division. He also emphasized the need for maintaining protocol in seating arrangement and also issued directions to the police department for taking proper protocol of the National Flag and security arrangements.
Arrangements including Power supply, water, sanitation, seating arrangements were also finalized and the concerned departments were directed to ensure these arrangements at the venue. Other arrangements including refreshment, deployment of magistrates, arrangement of cultural programmes, barricading, facility of commentators and availability of fire-tenders were also reviewed and finalized. Executive Engineer R&B Lolab and other sub division/block officers attended the meeting.
