JAMMU: BJP State Secretary Arun Sharma reiterated the Bharatiya Janata Party's commitment to public service while interacting with people from Ramban, Samba, Jammu, Doda and several other areas during his weekly public grievance hearing at the party headquarters.

A large number of individuals and delegations visited the BJP office seeking assistance in resolving issues related to their day-to-day lives. The grievances presented before Sharma pertained to civic amenities, public welfare schemes, pension benefits, electricity and water supply, road connectivity, healthcare services, and other administrative concerns affecting the common people.

Patiently listening to each visitor, Arun Sharma assured them that their genuine concerns would be taken up with the relevant authorities for appropriate and timely action. He said that the BJP has always believed in maintaining direct contact with the people and ensuring that no citizen feels unheard or neglected.

Arun Sharma said that serving the last person in the queue remains the guiding principle and mission of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He emphasized that the party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently worked to ensure that the benefits of development and welfare schemes reach every section of society, particularly the poor, marginalized and needy.

“Public service is not merely a political responsibility but a commitment towards nation-building. The BJP is dedicated to ensuring that every citizen gets an opportunity to present his or her concerns and receives the required support in resolving them,” Sharma said.

He further said that regular interaction with the public helps the party understand ground realities and enables it to effectively highlight people's issues before the administration. Such programmes, he added, strengthen democratic participation and enhance public confidence in the system.

Arun Sharma also noted that BJP workers across Jammu and Kashmir remain actively engaged in assisting citizens. He said that the party's outreach programmes are aimed at ensuring responsive governance and timely redressal of public grievances.

The visitors appreciated the initiative and expressed satisfaction over the opportunity to directly interact with the BJP leadership. Many of them thanked Arun Sharma for giving a patient hearing to their issues and assuring follow-up with the concerned departments. Sharma reaffirmed that the BJP would continue to stand with the people and work tirelessly for their welfare, progress and empowerment.
