RAMBAN: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban organized an awareness program at village Kabbi to educate rural youth about various self-employment opportunities and training programs offered by the Institute.

The session was conducted under the guidance of Director, SBI RSETI Ramban, Harvinder Singh who addressed the participants and highlighted the crucial role of institute in transforming rural youth into successful entrepreneurs and self-reliant individuals.

The Director briefed the trainees about the wide range of training programs imparted by SBI RSETI Ramban in sectors such as agriculture, tailoring, dairy farming, computer applications and entrepreneurship development. He emphasized that these training programs are designed to provide hands-on skill development and promote sustainable livelihoods among the unemployed youth especially from rural areas.

In addition, he provided detailed information about various Government Sponsored Schemes such as PMEGP (Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme), JKREGP (Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme), Mudra Yojana, HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Programme) and other livelihood initiatives aimed at supporting youth in establishing their own ventures.

The program received an enthusiastic response from the participants, who evinced keen interest in enrolling for upcoming RSETI training courses. The event concluded with a vote of thanks where the participants expressed their gratitude towards SBI RSETI Ramban for organizing such an informative sessions that inspire rural youth towards entrepreneurship and self-employment.
