JAMMU: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu District today formally launched the ambitious nationwide campaign, ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ Sankalp Abhiyan (Self-Reliant India Pledge Campaign), with the powerful theme of ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’ (Indigenous Products in Every Home, Indigenous Products Everywhere), at a special event held at the Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawani, Jammu.
The campaign aims to strengthen the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' mission envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and will run from September 25 to December 25, 2025.
The launch event was presided over by District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta and was attended by key office bearers, including District General Secretaries Sh. Suneet Raina and Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma District Convenor Atmanirbhar Bharat, District Secretary Parveen kerni, Spokesperson Sh. Keshav Chopra, and District IT incharge Atul Sharma.
Addressing the media, District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta highlighted the party's commitment to the campaign. "Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the BJP is fully committed to making India self-reliant. This three-month campaign is not just a political program; it is a movement to install a sense of pride in our local products and empower our local artisans, traders, and small industries," he stated.
Adv. Gupta further elaborated that the campaign will be executed at the grassroots level with a detailed schedule (as previously announced), which includes: Workshops and Conferences for traders, small-scale industrialists, and professionals. Rath Yatras (Chariot Processions) to reach every corner of the district.
Swadeshi Melas (Indigenous Product Fairs) to promote local goods. Special engagement drives with college/university students and various other programs across Mandal, District, and State levels. The success of the campaign, Adv. Gupta stressed, is vital for realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a prosperous and self-reliant nation.
