JAMMU: In a heartfelt act of compassion and community service, resonating with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of “Seva Hi Sangathan” and Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) core values of service before self, BJP State Secretary Pawan Sharma participated in Langar Sewa organized by the Jai Shiromani Baba Kaliveer Ji Trust at the Super Speciality Hospital, Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu.
The Langar Sewa was led by Shakti Uppal (Chairperson) along with Bunty Jamwal, Dheeraj Uppal, Jai Bhardwaj, Kushal Kumar, Shiv Uppal, Kamal Bhagat, Rahul Gupta, Gulshan Kumar, and other dedicated members of the Trust. The initiative reflected a deep spirit of devotion, compassion, and social responsibility — fostering an environment of spiritual harmony and collective goodwill.
During the Sewa, Pawan Sharma, accompanied by his team — Milap Singh, Ajeet Singh, Sahil Bishnotra, Vicky Sharma, Aneeta Mohan Sharma, Munish Singh, and Jitendra Singh — personally served food to patients and their attendants. Their humble participation exemplified the guiding principle of “Seva Parmo Dharma” and the BJP’s commitment to “Antyodaya” — the upliftment of the last person in the society.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said, “Langar Sewa is not just about feeding the hungry — it is a sacred expression of compassion, equality, and human dignity. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, our party continues to promote such initiatives that strengthen social harmony and the spirit of nation-building through Sewa.”
He further emphasized that every act of service — big or small — contributes to building the compassionate, inclusive, and progressive India envisioned by the Prime Minister.
Members of the Jai Shiromani Baba Kaliveer Ji Trust expressed deep gratitude to Pawan Sharma and his team for their participation and encouragement. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue such humanitarian initiatives under the divine blessings of Baba Kaliveer Ji, symbolizing strength, protection, and benevolence.
The event concluded with collective prayers for the well-being of all patients, healthcare workers, and society at large — a true reflection of BJP’s mission of “Seva, Samarpan aur Sadbhavana” in action.
