BANDIPORA: In a significant move towards environmental sustainability, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, Anis Ahmed today spearheaded a plantation drive at NHPC Bandipora as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada. The plantation drive, themed ‘Ek Ped Shaheedon ke Naam,’ aimed at planting numerous trees to help maintain ecological balance and spread the message of afforestation.
The event saw active participation from all officials of the ARTO office Bandipora, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship and honoring the memory of martyrs.
ARTO, Anis Ahmed emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating, “Our goal is to ensure a greener, healthier environment for future generations. By planting trees, we are contributing to the ecological balance besides paying tribute to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for our nation.”
