SRINAGAR: Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Mr. Imran Raza Ansari today had extensive tour of Pattan Assembly Constituency and reviewed restoration measures being put in place by the administration after recent heavy rains. The Minister also had a review meeting of officers at Pattan and directed them to redouble their efforts for providing amenities to the people. He also directed PHE and Electric Engineers to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply in the area. He directed CA&PD department to make proper supply of ration and other essentials including LPG.
Urging people to avail the facilities being build up at Imambara Ahmadpora, Higher Secondary School Pattan and Palhalan in case of flood situation, the Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure timely dewatering the water logged areas. The Minister stressed upon the officers to remain vigilant and keep close liaison with the public. He also met various public deputations who assured them all possible support from the administration.
