POONCH: World Environment Day Program was Organized at Middle School Arai Haveli by Charkha Development Communication Network. On the occasion of World Environment Day, an important program was organized under the auspices of the Charkha Development Communication Network at Middle School Arai Haveli.
Dr. Rubia Bukhari, Incharge, Department of Sericulture, Poonch Campus, attended the event as the chief guest, while the program was presided over by the school's senior teacher, Syed Liaqat Hussain. During the program, essays and speeches were presented on environmental changes and the responsibilities at both global and national levels to address them. The school's administration and guests were welcomed and hosted by Muhammad Riaz Malik. Guests were greeted with shawls as a token of welcome. Charkha volunteer trainer Khawaja Yusuf Jameel introduced the Charkha Development Communication Network and provided information about its significant activities, including the programs organized on World Environment Day.
He expressed gratitude to the guests and school administration while highlighting Charkha's objectives. The school's students shed light on environmental pollution, forest conservation, and measures to prevent pollution in the current environment. On this occasion, the chief guest, Dr. Rubia Bukhari, articulated the fundamental objectives of World Environment Day and offered valuable advice on key measures to maintain a clean and transparent environment. She appreciated the fundamental principles and regulations of the Charkha organization and its team, and congratulated the school administration for presenting an excellent program.
Charkha volunteer trainer Poonch Rehana Reshi extended her gratitude and discussed her journey with Charkha, highlighting important issues related to its activities. Subsequently, the participating children were awarded prizes and honors. Senior teacher Master Syed Liaqat Hussain, who was presiding over the program, delivered a speech and praised the Charkha Development Communication Network for highlighting public issues through writing. He thanked the entire Charkha team, especially program organizer Muhammad Riaz Malik, for selecting the school for the Environment Day program.
The program coordinator extended thanks and congratulations to the Charkha team, the school administration, particularly Master Maqsood Ahmed, Madam Tahira Jabeen, Master Shabbir Ahmed, Master Muhammad Yunus, and Madam Naseem Akhtar, for making the program a success.
