JAMMU: The people of Saryara Biradari observed Punyatithi of Mahatma Atma Ram Sidh Ji, here today. The congregation was held at the community's Devasthan, Mahatma Atma Ram Samadhi at Bahu Fort. A large number of devotees from all walks of life paid rich tributes to Mahatma Atma Ram Sidh Ji at devasthan.

Sagotra Parivar, who shares ancestral bondings with Mahatma Atma Ram Sidh ji, organized a Vishal Langer and Cheebal , where food and sweet water were distributed among the people. Sarayara Sabha Bahu Fort led by its president Parshotam Lal Dalotra and General Secretary Vikas Punia also visited the temple and offered halwa parshad and prayers for the wellbeing of the entire community and humanity.

Speaking on the occasion, Former General Secretary, Saryara Sabha Ram Lal Sagotra, who also happened to be the elder member Mahatama’s family Sabha threw light on the life of the great Mahatma Ji and urged people to learn compassion and selflessness from his life.

Executive Member Shri Mahatma Atma Ram Trust, Romesh Lal Sagotra also spoke on the occasion and urged the community members to follow footprints of great saints. He said that teachings of revered saints have universal appeal and people should work together for the betterment of society by eradicating social ills.

Saryara Sabha President Parshotam Lal Dalotra in his address said that such spiritual teachings have greater relevance in the present era when the world is engulfed in chaos and confusion. He appealed to youth to stay connected with roots.
