ANANTNAG: The Pahalgam Development Authority and Municipal Committee, Pahalgam has continued its demolition drive with active support of Police and District Administration Anantnag. The Pahalgam Development Authority today demolished 27 structures which were raised illegally on Mall road and parking place near Petrol Pump. The field staff of Pahalgam Development Authority is surveying all the areas for identification of illegal structures which will be demolished in near feature. The PDA appreciated cooperation of the local people for removal/ demolition of illegal structures on the bank of River Lidder. The Chief Executive Officer, Pahalgam Development Authority Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Bhat stated that no illegal structure / construction will be allowed in and around Lidder River.
