• Ramkot and Nagaseni get KVs

JAMMU: BJP spokesperson and former Vice Chairman Balbir Ram Rattan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, students in rural India are now receiving the same facilities and educational opportunities that were once limited only to large cities. A clear example of this is the newly established Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ramkot, in the Billawar area of Kathua district, whose first academic session was inaugurated by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.

Not only this, just a few weeks earlier, a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) approved for the Nagaseni area of the Nagaseni–Paddar Assembly segment in the Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir began classes in a temporary building, while construction of the permanent building is underway. Local MLA Sunil Sharma (Leader of the Opposition) had inaugurated it through virtual mode.

Balbir Ram Rattan said that in the Modi era, providing quality education to every village and every section of society is the government’s top priority. He stated that the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas in remote areas like Ramkot and Nagaseni will benefit thousands of students and their families. Now, students will no longer have to travel long distances for high-level education, saving time, money, and effort.

He said that these new Kendriya Vidyalayas will not only raise the level of education but also bring a new pace of development to the region. They will create employment opportunities for local youth and increase healthy competition among educational institutions.

Balbir Ram Rattan said that these schools will offer CBSE-based curriculum, science laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, and modern teaching methods, giving rural children the same exposure that students in metropolitan cities receive. This will boost students’ confidence in advancing in fields such as science, technology, arts, sports, and innovation.

He added that this initiative also strengthens the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.” The Modi government aims to ensure that every child, no matter where they live, receives equal opportunities to develop their talents.

Balbir Ram Rattan expressed hope that these Kendriya Vidyalayas in Ramkot and Nagaseni will transform the educational landscape of their regions in the coming years and prepare local children to compete at national and international levels. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this important initiative.
