SRINAGAR: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar, organized a Special Lok Adalat for Contentious Cases at the District Court Complex, Mominabad, Srinagar. The Lok Adalat, aimed at amicably resolving Contentious Cases, which was held under the guidance of Haq Nawaz Zargar, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Srinagar, and under the supervision of Sub-judge/ Secretary DLSA Srinagar.
To facilitate the amicable settlement of cases, single bench was constituted for the Special Lok Adalat, which comprised of Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi (Presiding Officer) MACT cases and Advocate Suhaila Ali (Panel Lawyer) DLSA Srinagar as member of the bench. A total number of five Cases were taken up by the bench for their amicable settlement, out of which three Cases were settled. An amount of Rs 33, 94, 446 was awarded as settlement amount in all these cases.
