JAMMU: BJP Jammu & Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), along with BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, chaired a review meeting at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to assess and finalize preparations for a series of programmes being organized across Jammu and Kashmir from June 5 to June 21 under the nationwide campaign commemorating 12 Years of Vishwaas, Vikas and Jan Kalyan under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The programmes include special outreach initiatives, plantation drives, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activities, Pragati Path Yatra, Viksit Bharat Sampark Sammelan, Jan Kalyan Shivirs, observance of World Environment Day and International Yoga Day, exhibitions showcasing the achievements of the Modi Government, workshops on natural farming, and several other public engagement activities.
J&K BJP Vice-President & programme incharge Rakesh Mahajan, Secretaries Reema Padha, and Arun Sharma, Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Kashmir Displaced District President Rajiv Pandita, Morcha Presidents Brahmjyot Satti, and Dharminder Kumar, Bawa Sharma, Sunny Sangotra, Priyanka Mahajan, and others participated in the meeting.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that the last twelve years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership have transformed India into a stronger, more prosperous, and globally respected nation. He said that the programmes being organized are aimed at taking the achievements and welfare initiatives of the government directly to the people and strengthening the connection between the government and the masses. He stressed that every BJP activist must actively participate in these programmes and ensure maximum public outreach at the grassroots level.
Ashok Koul emphasized that the campaign is an opportunity to highlight the unprecedented developmental works, welfare schemes, and people-centric governance delivered under the Modi Government. He called upon party leaders and workers to conduct the programmes with dedication and organizational discipline, ensuring effective participation from every section of society. He said that the party cadre must reach every booth and every household to make the campaign a grand success.
Rakesh Mahajan briefed the meeting regarding the schedule and arrangements of the programmes. He informed that detailed planning has been undertaken for all events and expressed confidence that BJP workers across Jammu and Kashmir would ensure their successful implementation with enthusiasm and commitment.
