BANDIPORA: The JK Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd., organised an Awareness Camp at Dawar, Gurez, in collaboration with the National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi.
The event witnessed large participation from diverse communities, with large presence of individuals belonging to Scheduled Tribes. The primary aim of the event was to raise awareness about the self-employment schemes undertaken by Corporation.
Nazir Ahmad Gurezi , MLA attended the event as Chief Guest and appreciated the officials of Corporation for organising the event and encouraged the gathering to avail benefits of Schemes.
Ashok Kumar Thukaan, Financial Advisor of the corporation highlighted various low interest loans schemes offered by the Corporation implemented to support marginalised section of society, particularly those designed for Scheduled tribe categories with special emphasis on education loan Schemes.
Mehmood-ul-Haq Gundroo, Deputy General Manager of the Corporation reaffirmed the Corporationâs unwavering commitment to empowering individuals. He urged the attendees to avail benefits of schemes and actively spreading awareness to ensure broader reach and impact.
Ashiq Ahmad Dar, Director NIELIT and Principal Boys Higher Secondary School, Gurez were present on the occasion, shared their views and encouraged participants to take advantage of Schemes while promoting awareness to ensure wider reach and benefit to many.
