KATRA: Dr. Ankush Raina, Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shri MataVaishno Devi University (SMVDU), represented University at the International Conference on2D MatTech Global: Fundamentals to Applications (2DMTG 2026) held at the IndianInstitute of Technology (IIT) Indore.
At the conference, Dr. Raina presented his research on advanced materials and tribology, sharingthe ongoing work being carried out at SMVDU with researchers, academicians, and industryexperts from India and abroad.
The event provided a platform to exchange ideas, discussemerging trends in two-dimensional materials and advanced manufacturing, and exploreopportunities for future research collaborations.
Reflecting on his participation, Dr. Raina said that the conference offered valuable insights intothe latest developments in the field and provided meaningful interactions with leadingresearchers.
He added that the experience would further strengthen the research being undertakenunder the projects RP-150 and RP-157 at SMVDU.
