DODA: The 26 RR, under Operation Sadbhavna and in collaboration with the Health Department, organised a free medical camp at Village Halaran, Medical Block Thathri, District Doda, on June 29.
The camp offered general medical check-ups, screening for non-communicable diseases, health consultations and free distribution of medicines, along with awareness sessions on personal hygiene, sanitation and preventive healthcare.
A medical team comprising Dr Sakshi Kotwal, Dr Arpit and other healthcare professionals provided services and 551 patients received treatment and medicines. Local residents expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and the Health Department for bringing healthcare services to their doorstep.
