JAMMU: BJP Jammu & Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) released the Dogri musical offering "Surme Sanakade Jawan Dogre" at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, All Cells Incharge Ved Sharma, BJP Secretary Reema Padha, senior party leaders, artists, and cultural enthusiasts were present. The programme was organized by the BJP Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell under the guidance of its Convenor Narinder Singh and Co-Convenors Sahil Mahajan and Vinod Bhalla, while the event was managed by Sahil Mahajan.
Sat Sharma, while releasing the song, said that "Surme Sanakade Jawan Dogre" is a musical celebration of the fearless spirit of the Dogra people, who have always stood united with dignity and never bowed before injustice or forces attempting to divide society. He said the song reflects the values of courage, self-respect, patriotism, and cultural pride that have defined the Dogra identity for generations. He appreciated the creative team for promoting the Dogri language and inspiring the younger generation to remain connected with their glorious heritage. The song celebrates the indomitable spirit, and unwavering resolve of the Dogra community against every divisive force, he added.
Sanjita Dogra said the song beautifully showcases the rich cultural ethos of the Dogra community and reinforces the timeless values of unity, harmony, and courage. Gopal Mahajan said that regional languages and culture are the soul of society and deserve continuous encouragement and recognition.
Ved Sharma expressed hope that these endeavours encourage the younger generation to cherish their language and traditions. Sahil Mahajan insisted that BJP Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell will continue to promote such endeavours. The song features the voices of Late Rakesh Slathia, Raman Slathia, and Nirbhay Slathia. Lyrics have been penned by Randhir Singh Raipuria, music composed by Sahil Nath, with the original composition by Late Rakesh Slathia. The music video, directed by KK Malhotra with cinematography by Danish Mir, premiered today on digital platforms, including the official Raman Slathia Music YouTube channel.
