Congress politicizing NEET paper leak Issue, misleading youth for vested interests: Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu

JAMMU: Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu, State Spokesperson BJP JKUT, strongly condemned the Congress party for deliberately politicizing the NEET paper leakage case and exploiting the sentiments of young students for narrow political gains.

Reacting sharply to the statements made by Congress leaders, Dr. Shishu said, _" Instead of standing with students and supporting corrective action, Congress is busy creating doubt in the minds of lakhs of aspirants about the entire examination system. This irresponsible behavior is nothing but a conspiracy to demoralize the youth and derail their future for political mileage.”_

He particularly slammed the JKUT Congress leaders for their so-called _“Chhatron ki Goonj”_ propaganda. _“The same Congress which destroyed the education system in J&K for decades is now pretending to be the voice of students. Through ‘Chhatron ki Goonj’, they are only spreading noise, confusion, and mistrust. This is not the voice of students, it is the echo of Congress’ frustration after being rejected by the people,”_ Dr. Shishu remarked.

He stated that the Union Government under Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji has taken the NEET issue with utmost seriousness. The CBI investigation is underway, culprits are being identified, and strictest possible action will be taken against all those involved. The Government is also strengthening safeguards so that such incidents are not repeated and the sanctity of competitive exams is maintained.

“NEET is the dream of lakhs of honest, hardworking students from poor and middle-class families. By questioning the whole system, Congress is attacking the aspirations of these students. The party that remained silent on recruitment scams in its own states has no moral right to lecture others,”_ Dr. Shishu added.

He further said that BJP stands firmly with the student community. The Modi Government has brought transparency in exams, expanded medical seats from 51,000 in 2014 to over 1.08 lakh now, and opened new AIIMS and medical colleges across the country, including in J&K. This is true empowerment of youth, not the politics of fear and confusion that Congress is doing through hollow slogans like ‘Chhatron ki Goonj’.

Dr. Shishu urged the students and parents not to fall prey to the propaganda of Congress and other opposition parties. _“The Government will ensure justice. No guilty person will be spared. The future of our students is safe under the leadership of PM Modi ji,”_ he assured.

He appealed to all political parties to rise above politics on issues related to youth and education, and to cooperate in restoring faith in national institutions instead of orchestrating campaigns that only serve to misguide young minds.
