PULWAMA: Continuing its sustained efforts under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Pulwama Police carried out a wild cannabis destruction drive in the jurisdiction of Police Station Litter as part of its continued campaign against illegal cultivation of narcotic substances.
The drive was conducted by Police Station Litter in coordination with the Numberdar of the concerned village. During the operation, wild cannabis plants growing on Government land near Jamia Masjid, Litter were identified and destroyed on the spot in accordance with the prescribed procedure to prevent their misuse and curb the availability of narcotic substances.
Police remains committed to sustaining its anti-drug campaign through coordinated enforcement and preventive measures and urges the public to actively support the mission by reporting illegal cultivation and other narcotics-related activities.
