Meanwhile, in Sopore, joint teams of Police, Revenue, and Excise Departments conducted a special drive to identify and destroy wild cannabis plants at Bulgam, Nowpora Kalan, and Matipora Rohama, eliminating potential sources of narcotics.
These coordinated operations underscore the firm commitment of J&K Police to combat drug abuse, dismantle the ecosystem supporting narcotics, and protect the youth from the menace of drugs. Police also appreciated the active cooperation of civil society and appealed to the public to continue supporting the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan by sharing information related to drug abuse, trafficking, and other illegal activities.
