BANDIPORA: As part of the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan (Drug-Free J&K Campaign), Information Department Bandipora, in collaboration with Majlis-i-Shaban, on Monday, organized Mushaira Cum Literary Programme at Boys Higher Secondary School Nadihal, Bandipora. The event witnessed participation from students, teachers besides prominent poets and writers, including; Shahbaz Hakbari, Ismail Ashna, and President of Majlis-i-Shaban Forum Mohammad Munawar Parwana and other concerned.
The programme featured a series of poems and speeches, with participants expressing strong messages about the importance of creating a drug-free environment for future generations besides highlighting the devastating impact of substance abuse. Speaking at the event, the participants emphasized the role of literature and poetry in shaping public consciousness besides stressed the significance of involving all segments of society, including the youth, in the fight against drug addiction.
