SHOPIAN: Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, the Deputy Commissioner of Shopian, visited the Panzer Gurudwara Singh Sabha today to convey his greetings to the Sikh community in celebration of the Gurpurab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
This visit was intended to extend greetings to Sikh community and promote a spirit of inclusivity. During the event, prayers were conducted for peace, prosperity, and the spiritual well-being of people. Local residents and youth raised important issues requiring attention, such as road development and access to employment generation schemes.
On the occasion, DC assured them that all their genuine issues shall be addressed in a time-bound manner. The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by ADDC Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone, ADC Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, CPO Rafiq Ahmad, DIO Showkat Hussain Ganie, Tehsildar Keegam Fareed Ahmad, and other officials during this visit.
