JAMMU: In wake of heavy rainfall in valley, Ministerial Team comprising Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Imran Raza Ansari, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Asiya Naqash are monitoring the situation on hourly basis at Srinagar. Minister for Flood Control, Sukhnandan Kumar is on way to Srinagar to personally take stock of the situation. The Ministerial team along with Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and IGP Kashmir have been visiting various flood prone areas to ascertain the situation on ground and the precautionary measures been taken by the Government at Divisional and District level. Meanwhile, a special control room has been established at Police headquarter Srinagar to monitor the situation. The helpline numbers of the control room are 2452138, 2474040. Divisional Commissioner has also asked all Deputy Commissioners to remain vigilant and inform people to take all precautions besides establishing control rooms at their respective district headquarter.
