ANANTNAG: Police in Anantnag commenced 05-day specialised training module on the investigation of NDPS cases at the Conference Hall DPO Anantnag. The training programme is aimed at enhancing the professional skills and investigative capabilities of police personnel dealing with cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
During the five-day module, participants will be imparted training on various aspects of NDPS investigation, including legal procedures, proper documentation, seizure and sampling procedures, collection and preservation of evidence, preparation of case files and other investigation-related requirements.
The programme is aimed at ensuring that NDPS cases are investigated in a professional, scientific and legally sound manner, thereby strengthening the overall investigation and prosecution of drug-related offences.
