BHADERWAH: The Social Welfare Officer Department today hosted a series of awareness sessions at Government Degree College, Government Higher Secondary School Boys and Government Higher Secondary School Girls to sensitize students about the scholarship schemes being implemented by the Department.
During the sessions, students were apprised of the Scholarship Schemes for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC), including the eligibility criteria, benefits and procedure for applying online. Informative pamphlets containing details of the schemes were also distributed among the students.
The Heads of the institutions encouraged eligible students to fill in and submit their scholarship application forms online through the designated scholarship portal within the prescribed timeline to avail the benefits.
